Love this trend of online commenters and “journalists” mocking anyone with actual talent (ala AVClub) and tagging onto one opinion (they got online) until it’s received wisdom for other idiots online. Then young people use that as reason to never experience any actual good art because of what they’re being mocked for online. Peter Jackson just made a 9 hour Beatles doc. It’s probably incredible. It’s just good news. And when PJ comes up you mention the one bad thing you can find people say about what is objectively considered one of the best film trilogies of all time…I don’t get it.
