I was fortunate enough to see him on a short promo tour right after Ready To Die was released. Of course no one there knew they were seeing a future legend not long before his demise. But the electricity crackling around his flows as rapped about 5 songs-if I recall- dressed in head to toe brown suede and sweating his ass off in the Florida sun was palpable and not something me or my friends ever forgot.
