Yeah, I basically agree with you. Swift just doesn’t make me that mad. And the comparison was more so about a musician and the narratives that are created by fans. I’m not saying their art is of the same quality. But there are musicians out there like, say, Thom Yorke who essentially have no real public persona outside “brilliant musician”. But other people use their lives as a part of the story, some more thoughtfully than others.
