The mosh pit during Rollins whatever year that was is still one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. Man those years are such a blur.

Tom I bet you were at that HFStival in ’94 or whatever when Tony Bennett was there and the Ramones and like Primus or something. What a weird time. All I remember is thinking that Tony Bennett was crazy old but to a 16 year old or whatever I was so were the friggin’ Ramones. Tight live acts though, by then, both of them.

Do you have any knowledge of music and the history behind it? Getting three big names such as Paul McCartney, Rihanna, and Kanye West all to record a song together is absolutely amazing. Especially combining the three different styles of them to form such a beautiful ballad type song. Learn to appreciate music.

Jeez, Stereogum…how can anybody be so excited about that Kanye/Rihanna/McCartney performance? What a snoozer. Its just one simple musical phrase repeated over and over; there’s no arc to the song. The vocal part doesn’t give Rihanna much to do…it has very limit range, no drama, no emotion. Dull song, dull performance.
