The game was remastered, or Romastered as the title of the game was, in 2020, and it was still so much fun. The gameplay remained essentially the same but allowed players to switch between the original graphics and the modern upgrade on the fly. It also featured new challenge modes, an equally great soundtrack, and toned down slightly in a brutally difficult level that was even harder than the final boss. Available for Switch, Ps4, Xbox One, and Steam, this remaster was tragically overlooked.

The game was remastered for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam in 2017, but unfortunately didn’t garner much publicity beyond fans of the original. The remaster overhauled the graphics and audio and allowed players to switch between the two versions of each at their leisure. It also improved the game’s controls and added cut lines from the original version. With even an iOS port, there’s never been a better time to give full throttle A try.
