Billups Buys Ads on SaaS Platform to Accelerate Technology Ambitions in Outdoor Display (OOH) Market

PORTLAND, Oregon., February 15, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Billups, the largest privately owned outdoor technology and managed services company in the United States, today announced the acquisition of Ads on Top, the only API-first ad server and platform supply side form (SSP) built specifically to handle loops and programmatic digital signage (DOOH).

Ads on Top’s flagship product, Switchboard, is a leading DOOH ad server, SSP and campaign management platform. Switchboard works with nearly all media players and content management systems (CMS) and can be integrated into existing operations via robust APIs.

Founded in 2016, Ads on Top originally dealt with car advertising in New York, Los Angeles and philadelphia cream. This work has resulted in the creation of the ultimate DOOH management platform for optimizing traditional loop-based scheduling plans, as well as rules-based programmatic control on mobile and fixed screens. Since then, the startup has served billions of ads on tens of thousands of screens across the United States and Canada.
