New Zealand agri-tech company Bluelab, recently named top winner of the New Zealand International Business Awards 2021, has acquired automation company Autogrow as part of a global strategy to expand operations into new territories and increase its range of technology offerings to customers.
The two companies combined have nearly 60 years of expertise in the horticultural technology industry and have employees around the world, including the United States, Canada, Asia and Europe.
“We are extremely excited to announce this acquisition and what it will mean for the industry. Autogrow brings complementary products to our portfolio and strong relationships already in the market, particularly in Southeast Asia,” said Greg Jarvis, CEO of Bluelab.

The acquisition will include all Autogrow technology, including the popular Intelli range and MultiGrow automation systems, as well as the wealth of experience accumulated over the past 30 years.
