Keep in mind that this is not the same as the already published Death stranding for PC which launched in July 2020. Director Cut comes with a plethora of improvements that include stable 60fps, floats with the ability to follow you on ziplines, even more custom options for Sam and BB , more rest areas, easier access to other areas of land, delivery robots appearing in the open world, and a real weight mechanism designed for the controller. All of this, along with the hefty PC spec that came with the original release, make the directors’ PC directing a great time to look forward to.
At the time of the announcement, it was believed that the Directors Cut would only be available for the PlayStation 5, as most of the game’s features were tailored to the system’s Dual Sense controller and its haptic feedback. What’s even more intriguing is that the PC port appears to implement the new Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) graphics technology, which was leaked and shown via VideoCardZ, which is known to disclose upcoming tech stories in advance. . This has since been confirmed by 505 Games in their post.
