Sony and Marvel have so far only officially revealed Sam Raimi’s Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock Spider-Man 2, although the first trailer also points to Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin (Spider Man), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church, Spider-Man 3), The Lizard (Rhys Ifans, The Amazing Spider-Man) and Electro (Jamie Foxx, The Incredible Spider-Man 2). It is also widely believed that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to reprise their Spider-Man roles of the Sam Raimi trilogy and Marc Webb’s duology of the Spidey films, respectively.
All that to say that No way home will pull a lot of Spider Man films other than those of Tom Holland Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far from home. For this reason, you may want to review some (or even all) of these older movies before No way home.
Read on for the full list of where you can stream the seven Spider-Man movies live in Canada. Of course, these movies can also be rented or purchased from digital storefronts like iTunes and Google Play.
So TL; DR – having Amazon Prime Video has you covered for all of Tobey Maguire’s movies, while Netflix has both of Tom Holland’s. For Andrew Garfield, however, Netflix is only covering its first release, The Amazing Spider-Man, so those who are interested in the sequel will either have to put up with the ads on CTV.ca or just rent it for $ 3.99 to $ 4.99 on likes like itunes and google play.
Of course, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man too appears in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). If you’d like to see them again as well, you can do that on Disney + – now with support for the ‘Enhanced IMAX’ picture format, no less. All three films can be found under the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Spider-Verse Sections from Disney +.
During this time, Venom (2018), the first in Sony’s growing universe of Spider-Man-related films, airs on Netflix. The rest this year Venom: let there be carnage, just hit theaters last month, so it doesn’t yet have a confirmed streaming release date or specific streaming platform. And although unrelated to No way home, it should be mentioned that the Oscar-winning film from Sony Pictures Animation Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse can be streamed on Netflix.
Finally, it should be noted that No way home‘sllong-awaited second trailer will officially release tonight, November 16. Marvel and Sony are organizing a special event for fans in person in Los Angeles to launch the trailer at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. Presumably, the trailer will likely go live shortly thereafter.
