QSC Announces Pro Audio Leadership Team – Music Connection Magazine

CSQ announced the appointment of Perry Celia as VP Global Sales and Service, David Fuller as VP Product Development, Ray van Straten as VP Brand, Marketing & Training and Linda Lee as Sr. Director, Operations. With this management team in place, the new Professional Audio Division is ready to position the QSC brand for its next phase of growth, innovation and expansion in the global sound reinforcement market.

Celia takes the helm of the division’s global sales and service functions after working at QSC for over 14 years – most recently as Senior Sales Manager, Americas. Fuller’s 12-year tenure at QSC has included leadership roles such as Senior Director, International Sales as well as Senior Director, Entertainment Product Strategy. Van Straten joins the team as a 20-year veteran of QSC, having led the company’s retail sales, marketing, training and branding functions, as well as previously as vice president of its Live Sound business unit. Linda Lee joins QSC with 23 years of gradual growth in key roles in operations and supply chain, most recently as senior director of supply chain and global operations at Identiv.

“We are excited about the new leadership of the Pro Audio division,” said Jatan Shah, President and Chief Operating Officer, QSC, LLC. “Perry, David, Ray and Linda are each exceptional in their fields and bring decades of experience to the team. To effectively navigate our pandemic-influenced world, we must cultivate our relationships with our customers and business partners; serving them to the best of our ability, managing and solving complex supply chain challenges and investing in our talent. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of leaders to not only weather these challenging times, but also position the QSC brand to thrive and grow as we move forward into this exciting new phase in QSC’s history. .

Along with the formation of the QSC Pro Audio division (which retains the QSC brand), going forward, the company’s AV/IT business will operate independently as Q-SYS division.

“As our customers, partners and the markets we serve continue to expand and grow, and as we consider our longer-term prospects, it has become clear that to unlock the growth and human potential of our company and our teams, operating as two independent divisions under the same ownership of QSC, LLC will simplify operations, unlock new potential for growth and value creation, and enable us to better serve our customers and partners,” continues Shah. “The QSC brand has a 53-year history in the live sound and professional audio market with best-in-class products and a leading brand and product portfolio. This realignment of our business allows us to build on our strengths and position ourselves for a very exciting future.”
