To download an Instagram story with music from your smartphone, you can first use the screen recording feature on your device.
To do this, you can use the native screen recording feature if it’s available on your device. For example, if you have a HUAWEI smartphone, you can use the native feature available on the device. The same goes for iPhone, as long as it is equipped with iOS 11 or a later version of Apple’s operating system.
Open the Instagram app on your device and go to the story with music you want to record. Then, if you’re using an Android smartphone with native recording capabilities, swipe down from the top of the display to access the Android Notification Center, and tap the Screen Record icon to start recording the story. To stop the recording, tap the Stop button, which you can find at the top.
If you’re using an iPhone, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen if you have an iPhone with Face ID (otherwise, swipe up from the bottom of the screen if you have an iPhone with a Home button) to open the Control Center. Tap the circle icon to start recording the screen. To stop the recording, tap the red bar at the top and then tap Stop.
